Who Doesn't Love March Madness?

Well, it's been well over a month since I last wrote. It was the friggin' Super Bowl! A well overdue congrats to Giants fans, I also despise you. Eli Manning to David Tyree will be seen on the highlight reels for as long as live. Now on to March Madness. Stephen Curry of Davidson is a friggin' beast. Dropping 70 points in the first two tournament games against Georgetown and Gonzaga. Don't be suprised if they make a run to the Final Four. Wisconsin is beatable, they won't play as good a shutdown defense again like they did against Beasley and Kansas State. They can definitely beat Villanova, and I can sort of see them beating Kansas, but it's a long shot. Hey, George Mason beat #1 seeed UConn and the Patriots didn't have a player at the same level of efficency as Stephen Curry. Great story, he wanted to go to Virginia Tech like his dad, Dell a former NBA sharpshooter, but they wouldn't give him a scholarship since he was too short at 5'10" or so. Well, he went to Davidson and has grown 5+ inches and is now about 6'3". In the East region North Carolina has been friggin' ridiculous raping and plundering Mount St. Mary's and Arkansas. This may be a little miss leading since, Mt. St. Mary's if from the Northeast Conference and had to win the Opening Round game against Coppin State just to get there, and Arkansas came out of a weak SEC conference which featured Vanderbilt getting whacked by #13 seed Siena by 21. The Tar Heels will beat the Cougars from Wazzu and I like Louisville over the #2 seed Tennessee Volunteers. Personally, I thought Tennessee was going to get knocked off by Butler who I thought was given a raw deal of being a #7 seed despite being in the top 10 basically all year. Louisville will knock off overall #1 seed North Carolina, as Rick Pitino continues being a genius and getting the Cardinals back to the Final Four. The the South, I don't like Memphis because I can shoot better from the free throw line then they can and I'm an awful basketball player. Don't be suprised if Memphis gets knocked off by Michigan State, Drew Neitzel is a great floor general and the Spartans always find their way into the Elite 8. I like Texas over Stanford, because DJ Augustin and AJ Abrams have been lights out so far in the tourney, but if Stanford slows down the game and Brook Lopez becomes a big factor I think Stanford could advance. Overall, I had Texas destroying Memphis in the Elite 8 and advancing to the Final Four. Just imagine how good they would be if Durant didn't leave early? In the West, I have UCLA over Western Kentucky. Courtney Lee could give the Bruins fits, but Kevin Love is one of the most underrated players in the tourney, and should be higher up in the draft boards. I think Xavier will beat West Virginia, but if Alexander plays to his potential and Ruoff is draining three's Xavier is in for some trouble. Overall, UCLA will beat Xavier pretty handily as Love, Westbrook, Collison, and Shipp lead the Bruins back to the Final Four for a remarkable third straight year. So I have Louisville, Texas, Davidson, and UCLA in the Final Four. Call me crazy, but just look at Stephen Curry, he's BEAST.
